An unacknowledged anticipation has finally been laid to rest. Gucci Mane and Gucci are finally crossing paths for a long over-due collaboration. Thoughts swirled once the Mega-Rapper was seen sitting front-row at the Italian Fashion House’s SS20 Fashion Show last week.
Gucci Mane is a pioneer in the Rap industry being the driving force behind some of the generations most prestigious entertainers out of Atlanta, but also spearheading some of the most trending songs to date. With his face-to-face contact with the brands direct Creative team, and years of overload GG monogram promo, the two will finally begin to form a relationship.
Gucci posed in a teasing campaign rollout showing the artist flaunting a merging his Hip Hop roots with the modern chic lifestyle across the pond. The scenery in the images correlate perfectly as the setting takes place in the profound Italian Villa “La Furibonda.” Gucci is wearing a small snippet of the collection in the campaign which shows hints of a 70’s play on renditions from the Brand including the classic court tennis shoes with the historic green and red webbing branding accompanied with a vintage floral print delicate tracksuit. To add to the history trending moment, Gucci also released new of releasing his forthcoming studio project, Woptober 2. He took to Instagram to make the grand announcement just off the heels of the news releasing about the Gucci collab. In the social media post, he used a picture seemingly from the campaign shoot where Gucci Mane has his pearly whites on full display holding a green telephone while getting a massage from a luxury masseur with a Butler on stand-by. Safe to say, Guwop has some relaxing heat otw.
