At the forefront of that re-evaluation is Editorial campaigns. Fashion brands are coming up with news ways to shoot their latest collections using the different waves of technology at our fingertips.
Today, French Fashion designer Jacquemus released his Spring 2020 campaign using the most go-to handheld device to assist in shooting the campaign. The entire campaign starred Bella Hadid in her literal natural habitat, showcasing the latest collection in a new way. Completely shot over FaceTime, photographer Pierre-Ange Carlotti captured the moments while Designer and Founder Simon Porte Jacquemus sat alongside for creative direction.
Titled “Jacquemus at home,” the collection includes pieces that were showcased last June from the Spring 2020 Collection which was an ode to his 10 years as a designer. With Hadid as the perfect muse with her bubbly spirit-full personality and sultry appeal, the collection features boisterous colors, playful silhouettes, and new retro style frames. One of the most notable pieces from the brand are their top handle bags. The it-bag made a splash when Jacquemus released a super-tiny version becoming a trending topic for runways, red-carpets, and Insta-girls alike. Hadid poses in an oversized white power suit complimented with an olive green knit style bralette wearing a clear frame boxy style sunglass from the new collection. Bringing conversation back to the minibeauty, Hadid is photographed completely nude and artistically covered by the top handle bag bag. The images are examples of how to keep the light shining in a moment truly showing we’re all in this together, a moment Hadid said was the “Best few hours… reconnecting.”
