The only thing better than the beautiful celebrities, is the designers behind them. The first Monday in May was a remarkable one for Prabal Gurung as he debuted his newest beauty of work: Atelier Prabal Gurung. You could say that Monday was a launch party as Prabal hosted a table, which all go for around 275,000 dollars, with pearl-focused Japanese fine-jewelry company he joined last fall, Tasaki. Away from the usually curated LookBook – Lets just do an all in-one package at the biggest night in Fashion. The newly developed couture line feature extravagant train lines, precise embellishments, and unique divine designs. The underlying beauty of it all is the diversity in age, race, field, and size including Gabrielle Union, Deepika Padukone, Ming Xi, Diane Kruger, Ashley Graham, Eliza Gonzalez, Hailee Steinfeld, and Hikari Mori – all of who sat at his table for the evening.

Each dress was individually co-designed with each of the stars – and that attitude definitely radiated through the moment they all were sharing. The night was especially a perfect fit for Prabal being that he attended an all-boy Catholic school stating that the night was “surreal” and “all of the things he’d sketched had come to life walking right in front of him.”
We’re definitely looking forward to seeing more of what the Atelier has in-store.
