One thing that’s taken a pedestal amidst the global shutdown is, yet again, street style. An added element that has remade a prominent name for themselves in the latest generation is the Air Jordan 1’s. Starting a frenzy Mid last year with their exclusive Air Jordan 1 Dior Collaboration, the brand has been on a constant roll since the release.
The latest commodity of the 1’s family is the next release dubbed “University Blue.” The shoe’s first look was released as apart of the Spring 2021 Air Jordan Collection. Inspired by notes of Michael Jordan’s collegiate athletic days in North Carolina with the UNC Tar Heels. The classic silhouette of the shoe is a remix of the usual including a stand out baby blue rich suede, featured with white tumbled leather on the toeboxes and quarters, and all pulled together with the classic black leather swoosh and upper ankle area.
Pushed back from the initial February 23rd release date, the shoe will hit stores on March 6 pending final reviews from Nike. The new phenomenon color way will release in full family sizes with prices for infant/toddler pairs at $60, grade school pairs at $130, pre-school pairs at pairs at $60, and men’s pairs at $170.
