Kehlani has always been an ideal artist that posses innovative authenticity and an intuitive sex appeal. The songstress is back with her latest project and continues to prove that she’s still everything and then some. Titled It Was All Good Until It Wasn’t, the album is Kehlani’s sophomore project and is filled with intense passion and delicate strings of devotion. The Oakland native has also had a unique journey with music as she was first seen in 2011 with he former band Poplyfe on the music show America’s Got Talent where they even went on to reach the finals.
With the follow-up from her initial debut in 2017 with SweetSexySavage, she proves her growth as an artist with more boundary pushing pop-soul-r&b vibes. The record includes a 15-track list with heavy-hitting features throughout the entire project. You’ll be introduced with a stringy heart-wrench with Tory Lanez, to a get up and dust yourself off anthem with Jhené Aiko, and a well-needed brag about how to break ’em down in a Hot Girl skit from the team captain, Megan Thee Stallion. You’ll find other melodies including Masego, James Blake, & Lucky Daye.
Kehlani’s sophomore project It Was All Good Until It Wasn’t is available to stream everywhere.
