Before any Red Carpet event, the guessing for the mens fashion of the evening is like an intense game of truth or dare. Nick Jonas is no stranger to the red carpet, or stepping out the box for that matter. Tonight at the 77th Annual Golden Globes Nick Jonas went for a more not-so-classic accessory for the Red Carpet. Arm in arm with his gorgeous wife Priyanka Chopra, who wore an infatuating pink off-the-shoulder silhouette focused gown, Jonas steered clear of the classic suit and tie and went for a more shining number instead. Replacing a tie: he wore what they call a ‘bolo tie’ instead.
The Bolo Tie is a trendy accessory that began with the country-western aesthetic and transcended into many different genres of closets over the generations. Yet, only the the youngest Jo-Bro band member can pull off the ultimate enhancement to the western statement piece. Not just any Bolo, Nick’s style elevation was designed by Prada and immediately took his fit from a solid 9.7 to an easy 10. Wore over a light blue button up, he pull the entire look together with a black sultry tailored, satin double-breasted suit. Pairing the two-piece with a shiny pair of lace-up oxfords and socks to match his blue shirt, Jonas easily set the tone for this seasons giddy up of red carpets.
