It is with sad regret to bring the news of the unfortunate and untimely passing of rapper Juice Wrld. The young Chicago-born rapper was 21 years old at the time of his passing and had celebrated just a week prior on his birthday. His music rung across the industry in a beam of fresh energy, easily relating to the upcoming youth while inspiring the masses to dig deep within themselves sharing passionate happiness and comfort.
Juice suffered from a seizure Early December 8th upon landing in Chicago off a flight from California. His record label, Interscope Geffen A&M Records, released an emotional statement to XXL reflecting on the positive personality and work ethic of the entertainer.
“Juice made a profound impact on the world in such a short period of time. He was a gentle soul, whose creativity knew no bounds, an exceptional human being and artist who loved and cared for his fans above everything else. To lose someone so kind and so close to our hearts is devastating. Our thoughts are with Juice’s family and friends, everyone at his label Grade A, and his millions of fans around the world.”
It is said that Juice was in the process of working on his forthcoming album, which was a follow-up to his phenomenon of a project, Death Race for Love earlier this year.
