Rihanna has claimed the crown of many different avenues this year breaking into a variety of different industries. Like when she tapped into her Fashion roots and launched her own label, FENTY, under the monstrous LVMH moniker. Or even before that when she launched her cosmetics company, Fenty Beauty, which rocked the world ranging over 50 shades including tones of all complexions.
Another reign under the Fenty brand is the Savage x Fenty lingerie line. Which also made a splash in the inmates apparel ranging up to sizes as high as 2X to accommodate beauty in all shapes and sizes. The Serial mogul recently partnered with Amazon on a partnership that assisted in elevating the brand to a new extreme height. In the new NYFW schedule, the lingerie company found a slot to showcase that is well beyond the small pdf reservation.
In a strict attempt to keep everything under wraps due to the exclusive airing with Amazon Prime, the attendees phones were locked away to ensure no leaks. The grand production was held at Brooklyns Beloved Barclays Center and was nothing short of an arena presentation. As the arena lights dimmed, they rose shortly with the serial entrepreneur RiRi in the opening number amongst a staggered set of models atop strategically placed pillars in very statuesque poses. In the center focus, Ri gave a slight burlesques-y sequence of sultry moves in a full lace catsuit and perky bra with a velvet wrap skirt around her waist.
The show proceeds into performances from big names like Big Sean, Tierra Whack, DJ Khaled, Migos, and more. A seemingly favorite of Ri, Normani, hit the stage in a Savage x Fenty number to dance alongside a line of dancers and Sean Paul who was performing his song ‘Get Busy.’ The attendees of the evening were just as major with Lil Kim, Diplo, Ashley Graham, Chanel Iman, Kacey Musgraves, and I’m sure a million other of your favorite celebs in the crowd. On the runway, or stage in this case, supermodels Cara Delevingne, Slick Woods, and The Hadid Sisters ripped the runway in the feminine celebration of sexuality and expression.
The Show will debut on Amazon Prime on September 20th in which the excitement will still be just as thorough as the main event. In the meantime, Savage x Fenty is now available to purchase on Amazon’s official website in correlation with their new collaboration.
