Being from New York has one of those special flaunts that have an unpronounced swag to it, as Dapper Dan said it himself about his borough in the Big Apple. Jennifer Lopez has no problem repping where she’s from and letting that Latin Bronx flavor shine through any moment she has. The shine yesterday evening/early this morning was for Lopez’s birthday celebration. Gather around a tight circle of close friends and family, the multi-entertainer had a celebration fit for the occasion. J-Lo partied the night away and back again with a star-studded list of friends whom she’s shared relationships with for decades.
The true eye-catcher of the evening was the beauty’s custom Versace birthday gown for event, because yes, J-Lo’s birthday is an event. The gold number shimmered like the many awards she’s won throughout her career with the flexibility to enable the perfect turn-up. The chainmail dress is a signature look from the fashion house, yet with a slight twist for the stars big 5-0. The goddess-style dress draped in a fitting flow of a silhouette with buckled straps across the chest meeting the bodice with structured cut-outs to flaunt her mega-toned abs then delicately falling down where into a thigh grazing slit flaunting those killers toned legs. The icing on the cake? Her large gold hoop earrings, adding that perfect touch of her Bronx roots to celebrate a milestone of life.
