When you think about not-so-obvious innovation, Teyana Taylor is definitely on the heels of conversation. She stole the hearts of the budding millennial culture on “My Super Sweet 16” with her outrageous silky grand curls that unknowingly would become a staple trend. Since a young phenomenon, the Songstress has always had an individual style that would grow to be admired. Tonight at the 2019 CFDA Awards the diva did what she does best and brought a little flavor.
Bangs in the summer could almost be called a sin with the sometimes unbearable heat that comes along with the Season. Needless to Say Taylor defied and threw a little flavor to spin around the usual fall beauty trend. Hitting the carpet in a Thom Browne number including cropped linen capris, a black and white graphic printed structured blazer, and a sheer peek-a-boo see through blouse – it was the vintage style bangs that caught the flashing cameras. Taylor went for very subtle glam complimenting her amazing face structure and overlapped with a talkative hairstyle. The classic bangs were cut into a shorter version feathered at the middle of her forehead. Completing the do were small loose curls at the shoulder length edges of her tresses that would flow on command, nothing short of amazing.
