Bey & Jay undeniably reign Supreme in all things life. Perseverance, elegance, privacy, and of course: Style! Yesterday evening in Los Angeles, CA the couple was honored with the Vanguard Award by the GLAAD Media Awards. The event was hosted at The Beverly Hilton hotel and was filled wit love and support from all walks of life. The pair was introduced by, respectively, Beyoncé’s previous longtime stylist Ty Hunter, director Lena Waithe, and writer Janet Mock as the two gave a heart filled speech of how they personally related to the cause, those involved in molding their career’s, and the importance and appreciation of the receiving honor of the evening. Giving accolades to Jay-Z’s mother and her bravery in coming out while Bey acknowledge the strength in her Uncle’s battle with HIV.

Dressed as elegantly as the sentiments of their speech, they couple silently matched each other in single breasted ensembles. The Jigga-Man wore a blush pink blazer and ruffled tuxedo woven by FRÉRE, while Beyoncé matched her hubby in an Alexander Wang blazer style dress. A moment of style and gratitude, Bey delivered a remarkable quote as we all stared in admiration “He lived his truth, he was brave and unapologetic during a time when this country was not as accepting,” said the star who teared up when recalling her uncle’s battle with HIV. “I’m hopeful that his struggle served to open pathways for other young people to live more freely. LGBT rights are human rights.
