Just mere hours before his Spring 2019 Fashion Show, Virgil gives us a sneak peak at what’s possibly to come. Taking to Instagram, he shared insight on him shooting three collections at once, including his debut collection for Louis Vuitton.
Understanding the intricateness of streetwear as its own Culture and Lifestyle, Abloh has always been able to curate for the millennials. On his InstaStory he shared a peak of a lavender colored sneaker. Trimmed in Neon Green snaps, fuchsia pink shoestrings, and finished with his statement orange branding snap – it’s difficult to say whom the shoe might be for with the brands easily identifiable non-gender style of Fashion. Pictured from a snap on his personal page is Abloh crowning a model with a orange cream colored, oversized hood of a sweatshirt. Although the real views come from the new graphic centered on the back.
The new logo bares the words of ‘Collection 010’ and ‘Spring-Summer 19’, but could there be a more classic meaning of the intricate logo. Right below reads, “stop, back to jeans and a white T-shirt.” Virgil’s uniform seems to be a simple tee and dad-tailored jeans – so could he be truly reflecting himself in the forthcoming collection? Basically creating the Algorithm for “Luxury Street Style, Abloh can do no wrong in the consumers of the culture.
Lets hope to see these two debuts on the runway show set to walk tomorrow.
