Spring is a summer of indigenous Fashion that include forcing style risks sometimes that could or couldn’t work. With the weather so limiting on a wardrobe you have to think outside of the box and truly engage in ‘No Rules.’ Prada enrolled in the class of mix-matching for their Spring 2019 Menswear show. With the opening look belted trousers and a sporty, short sleeved turtle neck we were in for a mid-season craze.
The collection was presented in a classic style for the house with Fashion lovers alike in a neon disco light setting enticing the ambiance and illuminating the structurally colorful collection. With the theme seeming to be a geo-longitude/latitude locator, the brand tapped into it’s archive and re-invited the Inflatable Stool to add to the molecular structure of the evening. Adding just the perfect amount of rendition and visual quality needed.
Possibly a pre-fall trend moment from the house, the Dry Sporty Turtlenecks wasn’t the only ‘out-of-season’ piece presented this evening. Accompanied by Sports-coats able to be worn anywhere, yes including suede, with impeccable tailoring and attention to detail Prada displayed that you can definitely layer in the Summer season. Addressing a head on trend talk – they displayed the new coming fad of fashion with the mid-ankle socks (not with socks) but with their take of the sports shoe trend that’s definitely taking its roll around. The accessories of the evening included a millennial style aviator hat. Inflated and airy and lined in a faux fur, it intricately complimented the season’s backpacks. Proving that the brand can continue to put the best construction forward, Prada continues to re-invent innovation.
