Every year we can look forward to the Unofficial Red Carpet season starter with the Golden Globes!
The Golden Globes is the career breaker for a lot of our favorite entertainers. But nothing steals the show more than the Red Carpet. Hundreds of Photographers, Screaming Fans, Raging Media Outlets, and Shady interviews gawking at out favorite Celebrities while they’re dressed to the 9’s, or sometime or none’s. Lol.
Let’s take a look back at our most recent favorites that surely made our best dressed list!
Lupita Nyongo | 2014 | Calvin Klein – styled by Micaela Erlanger
This season was crucial for Ms Nyongo. Mainly because of this being her somewhat breakout moment for the Industry. She was nominated for her supporting role in the great movie “12 Years A Slave.” Regardless of the outcome. Lupita was award winning ready.
Angelina Jolie | 2012 | Atelier Versace
Angelina is one that I must say I dearly miss on the Red Carpet. She has the ultimate silhouette for a good gown and ultimately creates groundbreaking Fashion moments whenever she hits a carpet. This Atelier Versace ensemble adds the perfect bridge with edge and chic.
Jessica Biel | 2017 | Elie Saab
It was all eyes on Biel at last years Globe carpet moment. This deep plunge, high slit, sex-thriving gown from Elie Saab was just the number that Jessica needed to send her to the next level. Something completely different from the minimal more monochromatic looks she delivers.
Salma Hayek | 2003 | Narcisco Rodriguez
I mean clearly, for obvious reason. Salma has been giving us body goals wayyy before Instagram was thought of. The crimson color mid-plunge silhouette was talked about for years after it’s debut and we must say, we’ll always be a fan.
Cameron Diaz | 2007 | Valentino
Not sure if I love dark haired Cammy over this black cow situation on this gown but it did it for me. Clearly the “statement belt” was excess accessorizing but Diaz made the look worth while.
Who are you guys looking forward to seeing this Sunday on the 2018 Golden Globes Red Carpet?
